Maureen J. (Connery) Hull

Maureen J. (Connery) Hull, of Tewksbury, formerly of Reading passed away on  October 19th 2025. She was 88 years of age. 

Maureen ("Mosie") was born and brought up in Salem, MA.  She met her husband Richard ("Dickie") at a dance, and after they were married they moved to Reading, MA where they raised their family.  They were long time members of the Meadowbrook Country Club where they spent the summers swimming, golfing, playing tennis, and socializing with a wide group of friends.  Vacations on Cape Cod were the norm, and their children looked forward to their time away with family and friends every summer.  They spent time in Naples, FL, enjoying golf, the warm weather, and friends.  Mosie has a unique golf and tennis swing "style" that was self taught but definitely worked for her.   She enjoyed being around her grandchildren and watching them grow up over the years.  Maureen worked many jobs including Utica Insurance, a teacher's aide at Birch Meadow school in Reading, and an office assistant for her husband's company Reading Steel.  

Maureen is the beloved wife of the late Richard Hull. She is the cherished mother of Ellen Hull and her partner Robert Coughlin, the late Richard Hull, Mark Hull and his surviving wife Alexis and Greg Hull and his surviving wife Trisha Mahoney. Loving grandmother of Jacky Kettenring and her husband Stu, Michelle Connolly and her husband Christopher, Richard Hull and his partner Rose and Tyler Hull. Great grandmother of Gavin, Malcolm, Violet, Nora and Charlie. Dear sister of Francis Connery and his wife Weesee, and the late Lawrence Connery. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Saturday November 1st, 2025 in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Maureen's Eternal Life at 12. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
