Michael D. Barile, of Pittsfield passed away on Sunday March 16, 2003 at his home. He was 55 years of age.
Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Michael was a life long resident of Pittsfield. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School class of 1965 and New England Institute of Anatomy and Embalming in 1966. He was employed by the Devanny and Dery Funeral Homes in the 1970's and later was the owner of Your Car Company, a wholesale and retail automobile and truck company and an affiliate of Leo's Auto Sales, Pittsfield.
He was a former member of the Pittsfield Lions Club, board of directors. He enjoyed playing racquetball and running. He had a warm, kind smile that reflected the many lives he touched during his life. He was a loving and cherished son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Michael was the husband of Diane (Retallick) Barile, father M. David Barile and his wife Julie of Pittsfield, Blythe-Ann Anderson and her husband Brian of Marlboro and his two cherished granddaughters, Emma & Grace. He was the son of Rosina (Ciccarelli) Barile and the late Michael D. Barile. He was the brother of Ralph A. Barile of Stoneham, Michele Sweet, Beverly Dubiski and Karen Barile all of Pittsfield and Rozann Barile of Malden.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 1 p.m. in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. STONEHAM. All are invited to attend.
