Michael A. Casaccio of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was 71 years of age.
Michael was born in Everett Massachusetts on February 13, 1950 to the late Michael V. Casaccio and Jennie (Marra) Casaccio. He graduated from Everett High School in 1968 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. During his time in the Air Force he put his talents to work building and repairing various complex engines as an airplane mechanic. After the Airforce he lived in Everett where keeping busy was his way of life, whether it was tinkering on an old muscle car or working on heavy machinery. Michael joined the Local 4 and started a lifelong career as a heavy equipment operator. He lived most of his adult life in Stoneham where he married Cheryl Mozek in 1997. Through out the years many people got to know him and his amazing sense of humor, his great wisdom and advanced knowledge on everything. Michael was one of a kind, but above all he had a heart of gold and cherished his family. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Michael is the beloved husband of Cheryl (Mozek) Casaccio. He is the devoted father of Matthew Casaccio, Jill Casaccio and Michael Casaccio. The cherished grandfather of Christopher Casaccio, Chase Casaccio and Caesar Spagnuolo. Michael is the dear brother of Christine Zonce and her husband George, John Casaccio and the late Josephine Driscoll and her surviving husband Robert.
