Michael J. Vicari of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Stoughton. He was 86 years of age.
Born in Boston, Michael was the son of the late Eugenia (Liardo) and Joseph Vicari. Michael was a warm and caring father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Michael proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy during World War II.
Michael was the beloved father of Claire Vicari Swift and her husband Greg. He was the cherished grandfather of Olivia Helen Swift. Michael was the dear brother of Rosalie Wills and her late husband Thomas and loving uncle of Renee and Lisa.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Saturday, August 10 from 11am-12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30 pm in Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave. Stoneham.
