Michael C. "Wodjo" Wojdakowski

November 20, 1964 — September 3, 2021

Michael C. "Wodjo" Wojdakowski of Stoneham passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. He is 56 years of age.

Born on November 20, 1964 in Somerville, Massachusetts, Wodjo is the loving son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Kenneally) Wojdakowski. Michael is a warm, kind and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Michael "Wodjo" Wojdakowski was a loving, dedicated, and hard working husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a proud member of the Teamsters-Local 25 and US Army Reserves. Wodjo was an avid Boston sports enthusiast, and loved playing hockey and softball. He also coached his son in Stoneham Youth Hockey for several years, a role he greatly enjoyed. Wodjo loved being a Papa and this past summer he helped his grandson Finnley catch his first fish. A tradition he also enjoyed with his two children Kyle and Kelsey.

Wodjo loved working in his yard while listening to his favorite Irish tunes and drinking a nice cold Bud. He was happiest when enjoying time with family and friends.

He spent most of his time picking up new hobbies and always was teaching himself something new whether it was wood carving, building a deck from scratch, playing the tin whistle, and the bodhran (Irish drum). His creativity and motivation to create art in any form will forever be unmatched.

Wodjo was the coveted family and neighborhood handyman, helping all with whatever tasks needed to be done. He could always be counted on to be there offering to lend a helping hand.

Wodjo's most recent passion has been teaching himself to make beautiful hand carved Celtic crosses which he created and shared with many family and friends.

Michael will be heavily missed and loved by all.

Michael Wojdakowski is the beloved husband of Karen (Flynn) Wojdakowski. He is the devoted father of Kyle and Kelsey Wojdakowski. The cherished grandfather of Finnley Wojdakowski, Wodjo is the caring son in law of Thomas Flynn and his wife Margaret (McGlinchey) Flynn. He is the dear brother of Paula Crawford and her late husband James, Susan McGuire and her husband Bob, Sheila Wojdakowski and her late husband Arthur, Laura Johnson and her husband Billy, Peggy Shea and her husband Steve, the late John Wojdakowski and his late wife Phyllis and the late Janet Wojdakowski.
