Michele Ann Mahoney of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021. She was 73 years of age.

Michele Ann is the daughter of the late Lt. Thomas F. Mahoney USN Ret. and Margaret A. (Hogan) Mahoney. Michele is survived by her sister, Maureen, many cousins and friends.

Michele was born in Newport Rhode Island. She lived in Portsmouth, Virginia and Rodman Naval Base, Panama Canal Zone. Michele and family moved back to Stoneham in Sept. 1955. She graduated from Stoneham High class of 1965 and Chandler School for Women, class of 1967. After which, she began forty-one-year career as a legal secretary in Boston. Michele enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Australia, Mexico, Aruba, Dominican Republic and Italy.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Michele's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Covid protocols will be followed. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Michele's Family prior to the Mass from 8:30 – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Due to state regulations for Covid-19, a mask is required while in the funeral home and we are not allowed to have more than 50% capacity in the funeral home at one time.
