Michelina (Correggio) DeSimone of Everett passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 93 years of age.
Born on August 17, 1920 in Revere, Michelina was the loving daughter of the late Rocco Correggio and Amalinda (Senna) Correggio. Michelina was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Michelina was a dedicated homemaker. She was loyal and devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Her favorite hobby was playing Bingo at Pope John School in Everett.
Michelina was the beloved wife of the late Samuel S. DeSimone. She was the devoted mother of her 3 sons, Steven, Ralph and Robert and their families. Michelina was also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Michelina's Eternal Life will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 3pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Visitation with the Family will take place prior to the Service beginning at 1pm. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available.
