Michelle (Aubut) Manchenton

Michelle (Aubut) Manchenton, 57, of Stoneham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 21 after a heroic, three-year battle to overcome Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS).
 
She was a passionate foodie, an avid traveler, an exuberant dancer — especially when the DJ played hits from the ‘80s — and the loving wife of Jason, her husband of 26 years.  Together, they amassed a large circle of friends, enjoying their company for dinner parties, cook-offs, trips to Charleston, SC, and the French Riviera, cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska, and summers at their camp at Paugus Bay Campground in Laconia, New Hampshire.  
 
Michelle was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, attended Berlin Senior High School and Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont.  Michelle’s career led her to project management positions at software companies, including Lotus Development Corporation, Bonaire Software Systems, IBM and Maximus, and academic institutions including MIT and Harvard.
 
In addition to her husband, Michelle will be missed by her father, Rob Aubut, of Laconia, her sister and brother-in-law, Jodie and Peter Robichaud of Henniker, New Hampshire, brother and girlfriend, Eric Aubut and Denise Belanger of Farmington, New Hampshire, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many dear friends.  Michelle’s mother, Anita Aubut, passed away in 2022.
 
The family extends its deep appreciation to the staff at Mass-General Cancer Center and Kaplan Family Hospice for their care and professionalism during Michelle’s cancer journey.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share her memories on Friday November 3rd, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM  followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Michelle's Eternal Life at 11:30 am.
