Obituary

Delafano, Mildred L. (Carvotta) -Of Woburn. (Formerly of Medford) passed away March 7th at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Louis John Delafano. Mother of Jean (Delafano) LaTorella of Winchester, Louis Delafano Jr. and his wife Marie of Medford and Robert Delafano and his wife Cheryl of Medford. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren Jeanne (LaTorella) Celiberti and her husband Nick, the late Fredrick "Rico" LaTorella and his wife Tina, Louis Delafano III and his wife Andrea, Gerald Nicholas Delafano and Carrie Dalton, Marie (Delafano) Bergeron and Kristen "KIKI" Delafano.  Her dear great grandchildren Olivia, Isabella, Anthony, Mariena, Mia, Lily, Nicholas, Leah, and Gianna. Sister of the late Angelo Carvotta, the late Josephine Antonangeli and the late Jeanette Kerrigan. Mildred was born in Medford where she lived most of her life and worked many years as a bookkeeper for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. After retiring she enjoyed volunteering for the Winchester Hospital for many years. She and her husband Louis "Buddy" spent the winters at their residence on Marco Island Florida. She loved gardening, walking, swimming, exercising and enjoyed spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers donations in Mildred's name may be made to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901. At the request of the family, funeral services were privately held.
