Mildred F. (Lonergan) Scullin of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, December 1, 2009 at age 77. Devoted mother of John Scullin and his wife Sandra of Stoneham, Stephen Scullin and his wife Denise of Reading, Patricia White of Reading, Theresa Boulay of Stoneham, William Scullin and his wife Carol of Stoneham and Mary Crowley and her husband Matthew of Lynnfield. Beloved daughter of the late Mildred F. (Sheridan) and Bernard V. Lonergan. Loving grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 1. Dear sister of Charles "Bud" Lonergan and his wife Marge of Norwood, Joseph Lonergan and his wife Mary of Arlington and the late Bernard Lonergan and his wife Lois of Somerville and the late Bertha Buckley and her husband Charles of Somerville. Dear Friend of Franny Doolin of Medford. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mildred's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
