Nancy (Koen) Cloherty, of North Reading, formerly of Lynnfield and Lunenburg, passed away on October 20, 2015. She was 78 years old.
Nancy was born on October 1, 1937 in Dorchester to Philip J. and Catherine (Callahan) Koen. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary at Crocker Technical Paper in Fitchburg. She enjoyed movies, reading and going to museums. She loved the ocean and had a strong faith in God. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.
Nancy is the devoted mother of Lisa Cloherty and Erin Cloherty and her husband Ralph. She is the cherished grandmother of Cameron Greenwald and Mia Greenwald. Nancy is the longtime companion of Michael Curran.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Nancy's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00am in the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden Street READING. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available.
