Nancy (McLaren) Sarazen

Nancy M. (McLaren) Sarazen, of Stoneham passed away on November 24, 2014.

Nancy had a passion for cross stitching and spent many hours creating beautiful works of art that brightens the walls of the family's homes. She and her husband loved to travel and over the course of their forty years of marriage they visited countries all over the world. She loved to do cross word puzzles, Sudoku and any other 'mind game' that was printed in the newspaper. The entire family was aware that portion of the paper was hers to deal with. She loved movies and could usually be found on Saturday afternoon at any of the local theaters. For many years they spent their summers at a cottage they owned in Ogunquit, Maine.

Nancy was the beloved wife of Donald R. Sarazen. She was the mother of the late Stephen. Nancy was the devoted step-mother of Donald Jr and his wife Barbara, James, William, Daniel and his wife Kelly. She was the cherished grandmother to Ashley, Kristen, Katelyn, Michael, Truman, Noah, Patrick and a soon to arrive great granddaughter. Nancy was the dear sister of Francis McLaren and the late Joan Dahlbeck. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 9:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass celebrating Nancy's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 4-7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
