Nancy J. (Miles) Stamegna

Nancy J. (Miles) Stamegna of Weymouth, formerly of Reading, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Weymouth. She was 81 years of age.

Born on August 20, 1933 in Erie, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the loving daughter of the late Russell Miles and Mildred (Shanker) Miles. Nancy was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone who was privileged enough to have known her.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late John Stamegna. She was the devoted mother of Nancy DiFonzo and her husband Frank, Lisa Stamegna, Jim Stamegna and his partner, Cristin Newkirk. Nancy was the cherished grandmother of Michael DiFonzo and twins, Alison and Christopher DiFonzo.

A Funeral Service celebrating Nancy's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11am in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 239 Woburn St. Reading. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 1-5pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
