Nella Alberta
Nella S. (DiMare) Alberta, of Stoneham passed away on November 28, 2001 in her home. She was 50 years of age.
Born in Italy, Mrs. Alberta lived in Somerville for her early years graduating from Somerville High School Class of 1970. She then moved to Stoneham in 1974 where she and her husband Michael raised their children. Nella was a secretary at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a member of St. Patrick's Parish Prayer Group.
Mrs. Alberta was the wife of Michael Alberta. She is survived by her two children, Joseph Alberta and Lauren Alberta both of Stoneham. She was the sister of Anna Morello of Italy, Stella Sanfilippo of Somerville, Carmella Bottaro of Stoneham, Rosa Laporta of Wareham, Tina Bamberg of Florida, James DiMare of Somerville and the late Guiseppe Antonio DiMare of Canton.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Saturday, November 30th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main Street (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Friday 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
Donations in memory of Nella may be made to the Breast Cancer Treatment Center 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA. 01805 Attention Philanthropy Department.
