Nellie (Pechulis) Bosy

Nellie (Pechulis) Bosy, age 97, a longtime resident of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at home, under hospice care, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in South Boston.

Nellie is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Parish in Stoneham and the Knights of Lithuania in South Boston. She loved holidays and family gatherings. She also enjoyed singing in the Senior Center Chorus, camping, traveling, cooking, and entertaining. Nellie had a great sense of humor and she kept it until the very end.

She is the beloved wife of the late Walter Bosy. Mother of Joan Musto and her husband Richard, Barbara Weiss and her husband Dale, Carol Knedgen and her husband Dale, and Robert Bosy. Nellie is the proud grandmother of Laura Smith and her husband Zach, Jill Baker and her husband Paul, Eric Hinkel and his wife Amber, Steven Hinkel and his wife Hilary, Ariana Musto and her husband Steve Yankopoulos, Gregory Weiss, Matthew Musto and Jared Weiss. She is survived by six great grandchildren and one on the way and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John and Mary Pechulis. Dear sister of the late Jean Sidlauskas.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. RT (28) STONEHAM Friday November 30th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Nellie's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday November 29th from 4 to 8 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
