They also leave behind Papa’s closest friend Richie DiMasi, and Dottie’s closest friend, Val Legor.

Papa Nick was the son of the late Joseph and Carmela (Gelormini) Argenio. He was the beloved brother of the late Toni Caiazzo and her husband Sam, and the late Tina Martel and Anne Gacicia.

Dottie was the daughter of Marino DelloRusso and Margaret (Colella) DelloRusso. She was the beloved sister of the late Robert and MaryAnn DelloRusso, the late Edward and Jean DelloRusso, the late Gloria and Phil Terramagra, and the late Lena Federico.

They were both a cherished Auntie and Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Papa Nick also had many “adopted” family that came to know and love him through his community and beyond. He was honored as the Grand Marshall of Stoneham’s 2023 Memorial Day Parade. He was a decorated and honorably discharged veteran of both WW2 and the Korean Conflict. He defended his country with pride.

Nicky “White Shoes” as he was known on the golf course, was an avid golfer and bowler for many years. He had a distinguished career at General Electic in Lynn and Everett for 30 years.

Dottie was a crossing guard and cafeteria worker at her son’s school for many years where she was a treasured asset to the community. She belonged to two special clubs throughout her years. One was a club of girlfriends from her working days who met once a month for many years and the other was a club that involved all of the girls from her neighborhood. She cherished all of her girlfriends in both of these clubs.
