Nicholas J. Fiore

Nicholas J. Fiore, age 79, of Stoneham and born and raised in Somerville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Nick was predeceased by his parents Anna M. (Zoccola) Fiore and Anthony N. Fiore Sr. of Somerville.

Nick was the beloved and cherished father of Michelle (Fiore) Powers and Alisa Fiore-Butts. Truly remarkable grandfather, "Papa", of Robert Powers III and Cameron Powers. Loving great grandfather of Camryn Jaide Powers. Dear brother of Anthony N. Fiore Jr. and his wife Kathy and Annette (Fiore) Bassett and her husband Phil. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A court officer for over 30 years in Middlesex County. At times it was a stressful job but one he enjoyed very much. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, eating a big Italian dinner and watching a Sunday football game always rooting for the Patriots or Boston College. He loved the beach and was a very proud family man spending every spare moment with his daughters or grandsons or having an ice cream cone with his great granddaughter. Nicholas was extremely generous and the true definition of unconditional love. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart, a true protector. As his favorite song says "I did it My Way", those who knew him certainly know that he just did that.

He will be deeply missed. His love and memories are forever imprinted in our hearts.
