Nicholas D. Turco

Nicholas D. Turco of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at his home. He was 44 years of age.





Born in Boston, Nicholas was the beloved son of Patsy Turco and Arcangela (Benincoure) Turco of Stoneham. Nicholas was a warm and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.





Nicholas grew up in Stoneham. He was a 1984 graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He performed in Summer Stock and Professional Theatre. Nicholas was employed at a number of Boston hotels and function venues including the Copley Fairmont and the Bay Tower Room as a successful event planner. With a love for music, Nicholas was a dedicated member of the Choir at both St. Patrick's Parish in Stoneham and at St. John the Evangelist Church in Winthrop. During his illness in the past ten years, Nicholas was an artist and also worked in Retail Sales in Cambridge.





Nicholas was the devoted brother of Philip Turco and his wife Gail of Chelmsford, Paul N. Turco and his wife Nancy of Austin, Texas. He was the cherished uncle of Jennifer Beaudet and her husband Jason of Manchester, New Hampshire, David Turco of San Diego, California, Allison and Gregory Turco, both of Austin, Texas.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Nicholas' life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Friday 2-4 &7-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
