Nicolena V. (Mazzoni) Paladino

Nicolena V. (Mazzoni) Paladino of Stoneham, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home. She was 84 years of age.

Born on November 11, 1932 in Sant' Archangelo, Italy, Nicolena was the loving daughter of the late Michael and Lauretta (Granfone) Mazzoni. Nicolena was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, niece, cousin and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Nicolena was a dedicated pharmacist for Winchester and Malden Hospital. Her true love was for her family. They were first and foremost in her life.

Nicolena was the beloved wife of Gaetano Paladino. She was the devoted mother of Greg Paladino and his wife Arleen, Guy Paladino and his wife Ellen and Rosemarie Brown and her husband Greg. The cherished "Nonna" of Jack Paladino, Joe Paladino, Sarah Paladino, Emily Paladino, Julia Paladino, and Victoria Brown, Nicolena was the dear sister of the late Angela Rizzo. She was the caring niece of Emma Granfone and the cousin of Dr. Alex Granfone. Nicolena is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Laura Migliore, Robert Rizzo, and Edward Rizzo.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Nicolena's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 10am in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Saturday, prior to the Mass beginning at 8am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
