Nicolina (Linatore) Perrone

Nicolina (Linatore) Perrone of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Glenridge Nursing Center in Medford. She was 89 years of age.

Born on March 23, 1929 in Somerville, Nicolina was the daughter of the late Sisto Linatore and Yolanda (Mercandetti) Linatore. Nicolina was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Nicolina was an active member of the Stoneham Senior Center for many years where she enjoyed playing bingo and knitting. Nicolina was an avid knitter, gardener and cook. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.

Nicolina was the beloved wife of the late Francesco "Frank" Perrone. She was the devoted mother of Frances Smith, Vincent Perrone and his wife Nancy and Steven Perrone and his wife Rosa. The cherished grandmother of Jessica Poti and her husband Tom, Amy Stadelmann, Courtney Perrone, Felicia Costa, Valarie Louis and her husband Dave, Nicolina was the loving Nonni of Tyler, Dylan, Tom and Kaila. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Nicolina's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, September 14th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family prior to the Mass from 8am – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
