Norman J. Springer, Sr. of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, passed away on November 27, 2015 at 86 years of age. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Norman work in the HVAC industry for many years and was a partner in Poirier and Springer HVAC. He was a member of the pipe fitters union and Elks in Woburn. Norman proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He touched the lives of many people who will be forever grateful for having him in their lives.
Norman is the beloved husband of Margaret (Montalbano) Luciano Springer and the late Rosemary (Marzeotti) Springer. He is the devoted father of Norman Springer, Jr., Diane Clifford and her fiancé Jim Gregoire and step-father of Deb Iaquinto and her husband Greg, Donna Lareau, Danny Luciano and his wife Debbie and Diane Figaro and her fiancé Tom Smith. Norman is the cherished grandfather of Brieyana, Brian, Christen, David, Michael, Danielle, Megan, Nicole, Jacob, Emily, Stephanie, Allison, Emma and great-grandfather of Antonio. He is the dear brother of the late Charles Springer and Muriel Reed. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Norman's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
