Olga (Danieli) Collins, age 92 of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2018.
Beloved daughter of the late Giuseppe and Filomena Danieli. Devoted wife of the late John F. Collins. Cherished mother of Theresa Collins and her husband Thomas Moscariello, Phyllis Collins, Robert Collins, and the late William Collins. Adored grandmother of Jonathan Collins and his wife Kathy, Derek Collins and his wife Kristin, Scott Collins, Anthony Albano and his wife Suzanne, Robert Albano, Andrew Moscariello and his partner Tracy Sears, Rebecca Moscariello, Julia and Caroline Collins, and great grandmother to Caitlyn and Michael Collins, Lydia Albano, and Leo Collins. Dear sister to Netta Demeo and sister-in-law Josephine Danieli. Also survived by Lynda and Bill Clifford, Irene Collins, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings, Viola Colantoni, Grace Fusco, Mary Martin, Emidio Danieli, Anthony Danieli, Emma Biasucci, Dora Hirsch, and Nellie Brownell. Olga was happiest being around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She loved hosting parties, feeding the family, playing bingo, and visiting Foxwoods. She had many different jobs, but most enjoyed working at the snack bar in the old Caldor department store for many years.
Funeral from Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28), Stoneham, on Thursday at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Olga's Eternal Life at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather in the funeral home on Wednesday; from 4 to 8pm.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
