Olga C. (Bianchi) McShane

Olga C. (Bianchi) McShane of Florida, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017. She was 94 years of age.

Born on September 1, 1922 in Brooklyn, Olga was the loving daughter of the late Aristidi and Anna Bianchi. Olga was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Olga loved people. She enjoyed being active by line dancing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. An avid fundraiser, Olga liked to volunteer with campaigns for politicians. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and was an avid coupon collector.

Olga was the beloved wife for 57 years of the late Robert F. McShane. She was the devoted mother of Catherine Terranova and her husband Joseph, Robert F. McShane, Jr. and Kevin McShane, Sr., and very close friend, Rose Phillips, who was like a daughter to her. The cherished grandmother of Joseph Terranova, Jr., Michael Terranova and his wife Sarah, Janine Rossino and her husband Chris, Sarah-Jane Nieusma and her husband Eric, Matthew McShane, Rene McShane, Derek McShane and his wife Demi and the late Kevin McShane and his surviving wife Lisa, Olga was the loving great grandmother of 10. She was the dear sister of the late Mary Addeo, Rita Panico, Joseph Bianchi and Margaret Sarutto. Olga was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday, February 22nd at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Olga's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Tuesday, February 21st from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
