Patricia (Lehane) Cameron

Patricia (Lehane) Cameron of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 23, 2022.  She was 77 years of age.

Born on Saturday, September 29, 1945 in Malden, Patricia was the loving daughter of the late John Lehane and Mary (Sullivan) Lehane.  Patricia was a warm, kind & gentle daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Patricia, lovingly known as “Patsy” by family and friends was raised in Medford; she was one of eight children. She absolutely loved being part of such a large family.  Patricia attended Medford high school where she met her future husband William, “Biff”.  They married in 1968 when Biff returned from Vietnam.

They welcomed their first son Bill a year later, followed by a daughter, Courtney.  Sean completed their family a few years later. Biff and Patsy lived in Norfolk, MA in a small community called “The oval.” There, Patsy had a wonderful group of stay at home mothers all helping each other raise families with lots of love and laughter.

In 1979, Biff and Patsy bought their house on Gilmore St. and have remained in the same house since. Patsy was very active with the Stoneham School systems as all three of her children attended Stoneham public schools.  Patsy became a traffic director in the late 1980’s.  It was here that she met numerous friends who she remained close with after her retirement in 2009.

During their retirement Biff and Patsy traveled and spend endless hours with their 5 grandchildren.  Summers were spent in the cape, at their home in Buzzards Bay. They enjoyed  meeting up with friends and family, eating out at local restaurants.

Biff and Patsy built a beautiful life together and celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary in 2018. After Biff’s passing, Patsy remained in Stoneham.  She was planning on moving to Dedham soon.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late William Cameron.  She was the devoted mother of William Cameron III and his wife Maureen, Courtney Peloquin and her ex-husband Robert, Sean Cameron and his wife Jacqui.  The cherished grandmother of Caitlin Cameron, Emma Cameron, Lauren Peloquin, Phoebe Cameron and Pierce Cameron, Patricia was the dear sister of Jack Lehane and his wife Christine, Dorothy Harrell and her husband Tom, Connie Holland and her husband Jay “Dutch”, the late Sandy McKinnon and her late husband Richard, the late James Lehane, the late Larry Lehane and his surviving wife Judy and the late Irene Bently.  She is also lovingly survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
