Patricia J. DiLego, 72, of Edgewater, Maryland, died November 30, 2010, in the hospital surrounded by her husband and 2 sons.





She was born July 16, 1938, in Malden, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Lillian and Harold Egan. She was the youngest of three siblings. On June, 20, 1959 she married Vincent C. DiLego.





She graduated from Stoneham High School in 1956. In 1957, she went to school and became an X-Ray Technologist. After completing the program she worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston Massachusetts. She married Vincent C. DiLego on June, 20, 1959 in Stoneham, Massachusetts.





She also was the co-owner of DiLego's Jewelry Store from 1969 to 1989 and after that she became the office manager for her husband's accounting firm until she retired. She also did volunteer work as a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program.





Patricia is survived by her husband of 51 years, Vincent C. DiLego of Edgewater, MD; son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Anastasia DiLego of Bradenton, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Mary Sue DiLego of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Vincenzo and Zindoga DiLego of Bradenton, FL and Jonathan and Alex DiLego of Richmond, VA; her sister, Phyllis Beaton of North Port, FL.





Mrs. DiLego was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Domingue.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) Tuesday at 9am following a Funeral Mass Celebrating Patricia's Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family Monday 3-7 in the funeral home. Parking attendants will be available.
