Patricia Ann (Eddy) Polizzi of Reading died on September 12, 2024 (age 71).  Beloved wife of the late John Anthony Polizzi.  She will be very dearly missed by her daughter, Suzanne Polizzi Newell; son-in-law James Newell; and three grandchildren: Mallary Rose, Vanessa Viola, and John James of Reading. Born March 28, 1953, and raised in Queens, New York, Patty was the beloved daughter of the late John and Charlotte Eddy.

Pat was loved by countless others.  She always enjoyed talking to people and going to new places, restaurants, and church. But most of all, she loved her grandchildren.  "Grandma" was devoted to and well known for attending all of her granddaughters' (and daughter's!) dance recitals, along with sporting events for all of her grandchildren!  Of all her roles in life, Grandma was her favorite.

Pat and her husband took pride in their family business, Capital Asset Services, in North Andover for many years. They were well respected and admired for their honesty, integrity, and knowledge. Pat resided in Andover, MA for over 25 years.

Sister of the late Arthur Eddy, Joyce Clay, and James Eddy. Sister of Denise Eddy. Sister-in-law of Ann Marie Fontanetta, Susan Eddy, Kevin Clay, Susan Eddy, and the late Philip Fontanetta (all of New York). Pat is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held at Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), North Reading on Thursday, September 19 from 4-7pm.

The Funeral Mass for Patricia will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 10:30 am on Friday, September 20. Followed by interment at West Parish Garden Cemetery, 129 Reservation Road, Andover.
