Patricia M. (Robinson) Gentile
January 10, 1941 — February 25, 2015
Patricia M. (Robinson) Gentile of Reading, MA passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family after a long, courageous battle with cancer on February 25th at the age of 74. Pat was born in Taunton, MA and grew up in Wakefield where she attended St. Joseph's and graduated high school from Nazareth Academy.
Pat met Tony, husband of 51 years in Ossipee, NH during the winter of 1961 and married on May 25, 1963. They purchased a house and moved to Reading where they created a home raising their three children.
Pat enjoyed the simple things in life. Some of her most cherished moments were spending time with her family, treasured times with her grandsons Tyler and Drew, summers at Terrace Pines, driving the New Hampshire back roads, antiquing with her sisters and knitting with friends.
Pat was the beloved wife of Anthony J. Gentile. She was the devoted mother of David A. Gentile and his wife Michelle, Kathleen M. Ingemi and her husband Stephen and Sally G.Edmonds and her husband Brian. Pat was the cherished grandmother of Tyler and Drew. She was the loving daughter of the late Maurice and Irene (LeBlanc) Robinson. Pat was the dear sister of Dora Carroll and her husband John, Joyce Berggren and her husband John and Richard Robinson and his wife MaryAnn.
Pat was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Patricia's Eternal Life in Saint Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2-6pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
