Patrick A. Catino

Patrick A. Catino, of Stoneham, formerly of Waltham passed away peacefully on Saturday October 21, 2023 with his wife by his side. He was 80 years of age.

 Patrick Anthony  Catino was born in Waltham Mass on October 4th, 1943.  He was the son of the late Patrick Catino and Jennie Terestre Catino of Waltham. He went to Waltham High and loved football. He was a swimming star on the Waltham Boys Club swimming team where he made lifelong friendships.

After graduation he went to work for the Jewett family at the Walchem Corporation . Over his impressive 47 year tenure he not only served as company product manager, he  became a mentor and father figure to many who worked there. He also worked part time at Saccos of Watertown as a bartender where he would not only be serving up cocktails, but also countless jokes, trivia, card tricks and his expansive film knowledge

He was an avid Boston sports fan, although you may not have known by the colorful names he called the players as he watched. He loved the ocean, the wilder the surf, the more he loved it. But he loved his home and yard the best, especially when filled with friends and family who will miss him dearly.

Patrick is the beloved husband of Lorraine (Aiken) Catino. He is the devoted father of Patrick Catino, Michael Catino, Annmarie Catino, Jennifer Murray and her husband Martia Maftoon, Christopher Catino and the late Daniel Catino. Loving grandfather of Kara, Karissa and Carina Catino, Michael and Danielle Russell, Michael Catino, Joshua, Ava, and Ella Catino. Great grandfather of Kayleanna, Adrianna and Gianna Williams, Catalina and Manuel Casillas, Daniel Neto, Lucas Almeida and Melody Russell. Dear brother of Richard Catino and his late wife Karen. Brother in law to Cameron Aiken, Elizabeth Menear and her huband Mark Menear. Loving Uncle to Kerri, Lori,and Elizabeth.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday October 28th, 2023 from 1 pm to 4 pm. in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator available.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Patrick's Eternal Life will be held on Sunday October 29th, 2023 at 1 pm in the funeral home.
