Patsy Turco

April 12, 1919 — April 19, 2013

Pat "Patsy" a resident of Stoneham for over 50 years, died on April 19 in Andover. Most recently residing at Academy Manor in Andover, Pat was born in East Boston on April 12, 1919. He was the son of Filippo and Vincenza (Micciche) Turco and was the husband for 60 years of the late Angela (Benincuore) Turco.





Pat was a graduate of East Boston High School and attended Lowell Institute at MIT majoring in Naval Architecture. He was employed for many years in the Engineering Department at Boston Naval Shipyard and was a WW II Veteran Navy Seabee. He is survived by 2 sons, Philip and his wife Gail of Chelmsford and Paul and his wife Nancy of Austin, TX. He was also the father of the late Nicholas Turco. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Beaudet and her husband Jay of Goffstown, NH, David Turco of San Diego, CA, Allison Welch and her husband Rick of Austin, TX and Gregory Turco and his fiance Kristine Charais of Austin, Texas. Pat was the dear brother of the late Anna Dalton and Robert Turco.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Pat's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday from 3-7 pm Interment with Military Honors Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
