Patty A. (Dowd) Bourrell

Patricia A. (Dowd) "Patty" Bourrell of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Lahey Clinic & Medical Center in Burlington. She was 69 years of age.

Born on January 21, 1948 in Chelsea, Patty was the loving daughter of the late Merrill Dowd and Edwina (O'Brien) Dowd. Patty was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Patty was a longtime member of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Saint Patrick Church in Stoneham. As a proud breast cancer survivor, Patty was an avid poker player and enjoyed casinos and bingo. Patty loved spending time with her 5 granddaughters, going shopping, swimming in the pool and watching their sport's games.

Patty was the beloved wife of Arthur Bourrell. She was the devoted mother of Dennis Bourrell and his wife Lisa and Debbie Figucia and her husband Paul. The cherished grandmother of Ashley Figucia, Rachel Figucia, twins Kacie and Kayla Bourrell and Julie Figucia, Patty was also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Maxwell Sheffield.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Thursday, July 27th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Patty's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, July 26th from 5-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
