Paul W. Canavan

On Saturday, February 27, 2021 Paul William Canavan passed away at the age of 56. He was born on June 5, 1964 in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. Paul had a passion for cars, he was a brilliant mechanic. He worked for his family business S.E. Churchill in Everett for many years. He had a love for classic rock music and his 1972 Olds 442. He was known for his quick wit and kind, compassionate spirit.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Canavan (Hamill) of Stoneham and his nephew Zac Woods of Marshfield. He is survived by his father Paul Canavan of Stoneham, his sister Linda Canavan of Humarock, sister Lori and husband Jason Cook of Hanson, MA, sister Leanne Woods and husband Brian Woods of Marshfield, brother Jeff and wife Janeen of Stoneham, sister Lisa and husband John MacMilen of Derry, NH and loving uncle to Brianna Woods, Kaitlyn Murphy, Melissa Canavan, Kevin Canavan and several cousins.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with his family on Sunday March 7, 2021 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 2 to 5 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Paul's Eternal Life will be held on Monday at 11 am in the funeral home.

Due to state regulations for Covid 19, a mask is required while in the funeral home and no more than 40% capacity in the funeral home at one time.
