Paula E. Viola-Locke

Paula E. Viola-Locke, of Marlboro, formerly of North Reading and Stoneham, passed away after a brief illness, despite her courage and strength living with Parkinson’s Disease over the past decade. She was 73 years of age.

Paula lived her life with quiet strength, deep devotion to her family, and a generous heart. She was known for her warmth, her steady presence, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Whether sharing laughter at family gatherings or offering support during difficult times, Paula’s kindness and resilience left a lasting impression on everyone she knew.

Paula served for fifty years as a Judicial Secretary with the Trial Court of Massachusetts. She began her career at the Cambridge District Court and later continued her service at the Woburn District Court, from which she retired. She took great pride in her work and the many professional relationships and wonderful lifelong friendships she built throughout her long and dedicated career.

Paula was a proud New England sports fan who loved baseball, and attended many games at Fenway Park. She supported Kevin, and his over 30 Baseball league and traveled with them to many tournaments, from Cooperstown to Arizona. Paula also enjoyed taking simple roadtrips to the beach or to explore new places. She was an enthusiastic fan of The New England Patriots , and enjoyed watching games with family and friends . Paula had a deep love of all animals and a special bond with Finnegan, whom she named her “comfort” dog. She will be missed by all her family’s fur friends.

Paula is the beloved wife of Kevin Locke. She is the loving step mother of Kelly Locke. In addition to her brother Rob Viola and his wife Nancy. She was also the sister in law of John Locke and his wife Carol, Tom Locke and his wife Joanne, Brian Locke and his wife Tracy, and Anne Daly and her husband John. Paula leaves behind many loving nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and a grandniece, as well as many devoted friends.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Saturday February 21, 2026 in the Barile Family Funeral Home from 11 am to 1 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Paula's Eternal Life at 1pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
