Peter A. Lombardo

Peter A. Lombardo of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. He was 81 years of age.

Born on November 6, 1936 in East Boston, Peter is the loving son of the late Joseph Lombardo and Anna (Belmonte) Lombardo. Peter is a warm and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed.

Peter worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for over 40 years. He also worked for the IRS. He was an avid bowler and bridge player. Peter was a member of the Board of Directors for ACBLEMBA Unit 108 District 25. A devout Catholic, Peter was a member of the Parish Council and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick Church in Stoneham.

Peter is the beloved husband of Grace (Grasso) Lombardo. He is the devoted father of Joseph Lombardo and his wife Corrina, Sara Murphy and her late husband Ken, Maryann Lombardo, Christine Jermyn and her husband Jon and Tricia Lessard and her husband David. The cherished grandfather of Samantha, Sevannah, Alexis and Daniella, Peter is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Wednesday, July 18th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Peter's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Tuesday, July 17th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
