Peter M. Maloney of Londonderry, New Hampshire, formerly of Reading, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire. He was 71 years of age.





Born in Boston, Peter was the beloved son of the late John Allen Moloney and Ida Elizabeth (Manker) Moloney. Peter was a warm and caring, son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.





Peter was a dedicated Industrial Engineer for Boston Edison for many years. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish and the Cursillo Community at St. Basil's Church in Methuen. Peter was a member of the Pleasant Park Yacht Club in Winthrop. He loved sailing. Peter's true love was for his family. They were first and foremost in his life. His love for them went unparalleled.





Peter was the beloved husband of Margaret (Gaffney) Moloney. He was the devoted father of Peter Michael Moloney and his wife Sheri, David Moloney and his wife Renee, Nancy DeMoura and her husband Keith, all of New Hampshire, Karen Gershman and her husband Jerry of Tewksbury, Meg McLaughlin and her husband Brian of El Alto, Bolivia. Peter was also the cherished grandfather of 11.





Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Peter's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
