Philip Anthony Hatfield

Philip Anthony Hatfield of Reading and Rockport passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at his home. He was 59 years of age.
Born in Jamaica Plain, Philip was the son of Leona (Piston)of Brewster and the late Gordon Hatfield. He was a graduate of Lexington High School and Bentley College receiving his Accounting Degree. His first job as C.P.A. was at Arthur Andersen Accounting Firm. He was Vice President for Data Resources/McGraw Hill, C.F.O. for Xenergy, and controller for Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
Philip enjoyed traveling and sports and most of all the company of his family and his friends.
Philip was the beloved husband for 34 years of Jane Carine Hatfield. He was the devoted father of Jessica (Hatfield) Guaragna and her husband David of Wenham, MA and Daniel Philip Hatfield of Washington, D.C. and dear brother of Gordon Hatfield of Reading, Stephen Hatfield of Chelmsford, Richard Hatfield of Brewster, David Hatfield of Chelmsford, Ellen Courtney of Somerville, ME and Jeffrey Hatfield of Brewster.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass celebrating Philip's life on Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. READING.
