Philip J. Spears

Philip Spears passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 1st, 2026.  He leaves behind a legacy defined first and foremost by his love for his daughters. They were his greatest pride, his greatest joy, and the softest spot in his heart. Everything he did was done with them in mind. He lived his life in honor of them, celebrating their accomplishments, supporting their dreams, and loving them unconditionally. Nothing made him happier than being their father.

Phil embraced life fully and with heart and humor. He found happiness in simple, meaningful traditions — especially time spent up at the lake with friends, a place that brought him peace and many treasured memories. He was also a loyal Boston sports fan, always cheering passionately for his teams and sharing that enthusiasm with those around him.

For more than 30 years, Philip worked at Interstate Office Partitions. He truly loved and remained deeply loyal to throughout his career. His dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. He took pride in showing up, working hard, and being someone others could count on.

A proud Woburn resident, Philip cared deeply about his community and valued the friendships he built over the years.

Above all else, Philip will be remembered as a steadfast, loving, and supportive father. His daughters were his heart, and his love for them will continue to guide and surround them always. His memory will live on in their lives and in the many people who were fortunate enough to know him.

Philip is the cherished father of Alyssa Spears and Melanie Spears.  He is the devoted brother of Dana Spears, Mark Spears, Lynda Powell, and the late Jeanne Collins.

A Celebration of Philip's Life will be held at a later date.
