Phyllis R. (Barretto) Cuddy

Phyllis R. (Barretto) Cuddy, of Stoneham formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2023 with her family by her side. She was 68 years of age.

Born in Stoneham, Phyllis is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Connor) Barretto. Phyllis is a loving mother, sister, aunt, spouse and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her spouse Joe. They loved to go to York Beach. Every weekend they would go to dinner and then spend the rest of the night dancing. Her favorite song was Crystal Blue Persuasion and she loved to watch Little House on the Prairie.  She loved shopping, especially with her sister Grace. She was very loyal to her dog Niko, a long haired Chihuahua.  Phyllis was proud when her daughter in law Kimberly joined the family when she married her son Jerry.

Phyllis is the loving spouse of Joe Grenier. She is the devoted mother of Jerry Cuddy Jr. and his wife Kimberly, Robert Cuddy and Matthew Cuddy. She is the loving step mother ot Joey Grenier and Johnny Grenier. Dear sister of John Barretto and his wife Kathy, Robert Barretto and his wife Annie, Grace DiLemme and her husband Robert, Lisa Cortese and her husband Louie and the late Nicholas Barretto. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Tuesday May 9th, 2023 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Phyllis' Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Monday May 8th, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
