Phyllis L. (Mood) (Nickerson) Marks

Phyllis L. (Mood) (Nickerson) Marks died on April 5, 2016 after a brief period of failing health.

Phyllis is the Widow of the late D. Emerson Nickerson and the late Allen (Bud) Marks. She is the daughter of the late Leslie and Eileen (Griffiths) Mood. Phyllis is the cherished mother of Eileen (Nickerson) Glynn and her husband William, John Nickerson and his wife Arlene, Patricia (Nickerson) Sullivan and her husband George, Judi Marks, with whom she lived, and Karen (Marks) Castro and her husband Marcelo. She is the loving Nana of Denise, Billy, Maggie, Jason, Katie, Danielle, Mark, Cailin, Andre and Georgie and very special Nana Phyllis to Sofia, Ella, Eric, Morgan, Ava, Corey, Ryan, Michael and Stephanie. She was predeceased by her brothers Gordon, Harold, Edward and Robert.

Born in Medford, February 15, 1930, except for the wonderful years living in Hawaii with Bud, Phyllis lived in Stoneham where she and Bud raised their five children. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and considered herself lucky to have traveled the world with the "Club Girls".

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 3-7 at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 9am. Interment to follow at Chandler Grey Cemetery in West Yarmouth.
