Phyllis (Fantasia) Nelson

Phyllis A. (Fantasia) Nelson Reading passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House. She was 80 years of age.

Born in Everett, Phyllis was the loving daughter of the late Peter and Lucia (DiMassa) Nelson. Phyllis was a warm and caring companion, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis was the owner of Nelson Real Estate in Reading for many years. She loved to go out Ballroom Dancing and loved animals.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Egon Nelson. She was the beloved companion of Joe Capraro. She was the loving sister of Vincent Fantasia and his wife Frances. Phyllis is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and godchildren.

A Funeral Service celebrating Phyllis' Life will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2-6 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
