Phyllis R. (Sevelitti) Tentindo

Phyllis R. (Sevelitti) Tentindo, beloved wife of the late Anthony Tentindo, passed away on Wednesday, July 3rd at her home. Born in Boston, she is the daughter of the late Romeo and Phippa (Orlando) Sevelitti. Being the first generation of her family born in the United States, Phyllis grew up in the North End of Boston.

She married her husband Anthony and moved to Medford to raise their family. Phyllis was a creative and talented individual. This was something she learned from her mother and passed down to her children and grandchildren. Phyllis loved creating. Her greatest enjoyment came from cooking. She especially loved making whatever her grandchildren's favorite dishes were. Phyllis could be found in her garden getting all the ingredients needed to make her specialties. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be remembered for all the kindness she showed to not only her family, but the many people she got to know during her lifetime.

Phyllis is the devoted mother of Felicia Tentindo and Teresa Riffe. She is the cherished grandmother of Joshua, Zackary, Andrew, Nicholas and Matthew. The loving sister of Lena Ricci, Louis Sevelitti, the late Romeo Sevelitti and the late Joseph Sevelitti, Phyllis is also lovingly survived by nephews.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Phyllis' Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, July 11th at 11am in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family prior to the Service beginning at 10am. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
