Rachel Jean (Mastrangelo) Young of Reading, March 30, 2009 at age 84. Beloved wife for 65 years of Joseph S. Young. Devoted mother of Michael S. Young and his wife Rosemary Nelson of AZ and Joseph J. Young of Reading. Cherished grandmother of Christine Hotten and her husband Richard and Michael Doyle. Great grandmother of Nicole and Kristen Hotten.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Rachel's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Rachel by making donations in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Honorable Member of the Volunteer Yacht Club in Lynn.
