Raymond A. Bourke

Raymond A. Bourke of Stoneham passed away on Saturday November 25, 2006 at his home. He was 88 years old.





Born in Moncton Canada, he was a resident of Stoneham for many years. He was a member of Meadow Brook Golf Cub in Reading and lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus in Wakefield.





Raymond's family was first and foremost in his life. His smile reflected the many friendships he had made over the years. Raymond proudly served the United States as a member of the Army defending our Country in World War II.





Raymond was the beloved husband of Helen (Kelly) Bourke. He was the devoted father of Jeannine Callahan and her husband John of Burlington, Raymond Bourke Jr. and his late wife Elaine of Billerica, Paul Bourke of Billerica and the late James Bourke and his wife Eleanor of N.H. He was the loving grandfather of 7. Dear brother of the late Geraldine Anderson, Charles Bourke, Jeannine Soucy and Phyllis Magee.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Raymond's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.





Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday 3-7 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
