Raymond C. O'Brien

Raymond C. O'Brien Jr., of Reading formerly Stoneham, passed away on Tuesday April 4th, 2017 at home. He was 57.

Beloved husband of 34 years to Valerie (Terravecchia) O'Brien. Devoted father of Timothy C. O'Brien and his wife Kathryn Lynch. Adored brother of Anne Marie Nelson and her husband Paul, Kevin O'Brien and his wife Claire, Terrence O'Brien and his wife Sandra, and the late Gerard O'Brien and his surviving wife Lisa. Loving son of Raymond C. O'Brien Sr. and Rita (Lawlor) O'Brien. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Born in Somerville, Raymond was retired from the MBTA Accounting office. He was a former member of Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corp. He loved to go fishing and travel to the White Mountains. He loved to go to the beach when it rains.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. RT28 (STONEHAM) Friday April 7th, 2017 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Raymond's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday April 6th from 4-7pm. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery Stoneham.
