Raymond "Ray" I. Lewis

Raymond "Ray" I. Lewis, of Kingston New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 25, 2026 at home with his loving family by his side. He was 51 years of age.

Ray was born on June 29, 1975 in Newburyport. He was raised in Georgetown, MA and graduated Georgetown High School in the class of 1994. Upon graduation Ray attended Bridgeton Academy for one year and then West Virginia Wesleyan University for a year. When he returned to Georgetown he coached the Georgetown Highschool freshman football team. In his later years, Ray worked in the New Hampshire school systems for years doing custodial/maintenance. It was during his time at Sanborn High that he coached the freshman football team. Ray loved teaching and mentoring the kids on and off the field. He ended his career in maintenance this year at Turbo-cam out of Barrington, NH.

Ray had a passion for sports. He excelled in football and baseball. He played both sports in high school and was captain of the baseball and football team, as well as MVP all star for both sports and player of the year in football. He was invited to play in the 1993/1994 Aganis Football Game in Lynn. He was the only athlete invited to play in that game from town of Georgetown since 1972. Ray enjoyed all the Boston teams, the Bruins, Celtics and Redsox and how can we forget the Washington Red Skins. Ray also enjoyed camping with family and friends, playing golf and Sunday dinners with the family.

His most precious loves were his 3 nieces Madison, Morgan and Macy. Throughout his illness, his three nieces were a constant source of strength, encouragement, and love, helping him keep fighting even during the most difficult days. And his strong Faith in God was always a continued source of hope and strength.

Ray is the beloved son of Claire (Raymond) Parino and her husband Anthony Parino. He is the cherished brother of Daniel Lewis and Thomas Lewis and his wife Heather. He is the loving son of Richard I. Lewis and his wife Cynthia and step sister Jessica Lewis and her partner Steve Toohey. Ray is the dear uncle of Madison, Morgan and Macy. He is the grandson of the late John and Mary (Rutherford) Raymond and nephew of the late Sharon McNutt and Jeannette Green. Ray is also survived by many cousins and endless friends.
