Raymond "Digger or Sonny" A. DiNitto passed away at Cambridge Hospital on March 2, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Roderick) DiNitto. Loving father of Ann Marie and her husband Daniel Wright and Raymond and his wife Paula DiNitto. Adored grandfather of Mary & Christian Wrights Hoots. Cherished brother of Flora and her late husband Sal Valente & Agatha Patrick. Dear son of the late Civia (Ranucci) & Antonio DiNitto.  Ray is also survived by his life long good friend Helen Loughman and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.  Ray's  funeral service will be held in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte.28) NORTH READING, at Reading line on Wednesday, March 12th. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home from 11-1:00 pm. A prayer service will be held at 1:00pm. Interment will be private.
