IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca D.
Reynolds
June 4, 1942 – October 4, 2021
Rebecca D Reynolds was a phenomenal mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on October 4, 2021 at age 79 with her daughter, granddaughter and son in law by her side.
My Mom, Becky was born to Dean and Gladys Reynolds in Willsboro, NY. After her parents' deaths she moved to California where she graduated from North High School in Bakersfield and went on to study English at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She settled in Lompoc, CA in the early 70's where she resided, raised her family and ran a successful children's retail store for over 30 years.
Upon retirement mom decided to relocate to Massachusetts so she could be close to her grandchildren. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. Her favorite role was that of Grandma. She loved attending my kids' school and sporting events over the years and was happiest when she was with her grandkids.
In addition to spending time with my kids, Mom loved word games/puzzles, those awful court TV shows, going to the casino to play video poker, and she was never one to pass up a good dessert!
Mom was the most kindhearted, sweet, soft spoken person yet she was also the strongest person I've ever met. She had a way of making anyone she spoke to feel important and at ease. She truly was a special person and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Dale and Dean Reynolds. She is survived by her children; Darren (Janice) Gasser of Ventura, CA, Melinda (Craig) Richardson of Reading, MA; her grandchildren; Kendall Richardson, Kyle Richardson and Alexei VanSlimming, her brother; Philip Keeler and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Mom never liked to be the center of attention so per her wishes there will be no services. Celebrate Becky's life by donating to the American Heart Association in her name or simply by doing a random act of kindness for someone else.
