Richard C. "Rick" Guida of Tewksbury passed away on Monday, June 30 , 2014 at Lowell General Hospital. He was 57 years of age.
Rick was born on August 25, 1956 at Chelsea Naval Hospital. He graduated from Stoneham High School and attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
Rick was the son of Carmine Guida and the late Mary J. (Scarpa) Guida. He was the father of Adriana Guida, Alyssa Guida, and Jess Guida. Rick was the brother of Paul Guida and Mark Guida and his wife Rachel. He was the uncle of Dexter and Abigail Guida.
Rick was constantly involved in his community, serving on the committee for the new Tewksbury Memorial High School, as a coach for his daughters' softball teams, and volunteered at many school events. He was previously active in the Sons of Italy, serving as his local lodge president, and at the state level. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends on many different occasions, grilling at family cookouts, and taking photos to capture family milestones.
At Rick's request, services will be held with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick's memory may be made to a fund to benefit his younger children, Alyssa and Jessica, to The Guida Family Memorial Fund, c/o Lowell Five Savings Bank, 1775 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
