Foley, Richard G. Sr –Of Wakefield formerly of Somerville, march 6th at home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Patricia [Lumi]. Devoted father of Richard Foley Jr. and Jill Herwig of Beverly. Son of the late Daniel W. "Bill" and Mary Foley. Brother of Francine M. Sahlas of Medford, Isabel "Doll" Shea of Medford, Phyllis Foley of Waltham, Nancy Lynch of Somerville and the late Daniel W. Foley III. Brother in law of Patricia Foley of Somerville, Robert Scioletti of FL, Robert Lynch of Somerville and the late Charles Sahlas and Paul Shea. Uncle of Mary Frances, Chas, Bill and Stephen Sahlas; Joseph Shea; Tina Scioletti-Teitleman; Danielle and Cameron Lynch; the late Rob Scioletti and several great nieces and nephews. At the request of the family, funeral services were privately held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to the St. Jude Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or a charity of your choice. Richard retired from the Mass Port Authority as Air Field Construction Supervisor at Logan Airport.
