Richard Joseph Franey, 36 passed away unexpectedly on December 10,2021 while in Englewood, Florida.

Born on October 24, 1985 in Melrose, Richie is the loving son of Judith Gault and Richard Franey. Richie is a warm, kind and gentle son, brother, husband, father, step-father, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.

Richie attended Northshore Community College and worked for the MBTA. He recently finished CDL school and was awaiting his final testing. Richie was a devoted father. He enjoyed the beach, fishing, boating, writing, camping and working on cars.

Richie is the beloved husband of Sarah Powell. He is the devoted father of his son Anthony and his step daughters Renee and Victoria of Haverhill. Richie is the loving son of Richard Franey and his wife Becky of Franklin, New Hampshire and Judith Gault and her husband John of Englewood, Florida. The cherished grandson of Margaret Colerico of Revere, he is the dear brother of Jennifer Philman and her husband Kyle or Port Charlotte Florida, Kristina, Adrianna and
Brayden Franey of Franklin, New Hampshire. Richie is also lovingly survived by his nephews Kyle and Conner Philman along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents George and Jean Franey and William Edge.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 6th at 10:30am in Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill Avenue, LYNNFIELD.
