Richard A. "Dickie" Mason of Stoneham passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 in Milton. He was 72 years of age.
Born in Boston, Richard was the son of the late Evelyn (Connor) Mason and Arthur J. Mason.
Richard loved the Red Sox and the Bruins. He loved music especially County Western music. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all.
He was the loving brother of George Mason and his wife Terry of Illinois, Judy Powell of Newburyport and Arthur Mason and his wife Susan of Stoneham. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Funeral Service celebrating Richard's life will be held on Saturday at 4 pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family prior to the service beginning at 1 pm.
Donations may be made in Richard's name to the St. Patrick's Building Fund, 9 Pomeworth St., Stoneham, MA 02180 or National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Norwood, MA 02062.
